Samegawa, Slightly Flawed (Large)

Ray skin used for Tsuka of Japanese sword.

This Samegawa has one of the flaws listed below and is sold at a lower price.

Size : Over 50cm long.


As the nodes are not perfect, we reccomend to use for
making Tanzaku, saya wrapping, practicing to make Tsuka,
Wasabi grater, and handles of fishing rods.



Examples of the flaws.

* The shape of the node is irregular.
* The color of the node is yellowish.
* The node has wear-spots.
* Crack in the nodes.
* Limited surface stain.
* Hole in the skin.
